PROJECT SCOPE:

Reduce daily water demand in the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro through a comprehensive water conservation and demand management strategy over three years.

◦ Updating GIS and DMA (District Metered Areas) water balances

◦ NRW (Non-Revenue Water) calculations

◦ Leak detection and remote DMA monitorin

◦ Bulk water metering and pipeline condition assessments

◦ Reservoir monitoring

MEASURED IMPACT:

◦ 35,000,000 liters of water was saved per day through interventions over the project period
